Yes, I've been a crappy friend. Yes, my head has been elsewhere. I stopped writing because I've been doing some serious avoiding. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I'm merely stating the truth.
However, I have a favor to ask of everyone. This doesn't involve actually speaking to me or anything like that, so calm down, kiddies!
My brother's cancer has returned. I know there's not a ton of info on here about it- it was mostly on the other journals I had to get rid of. And, he'd been "in remission" since March of 2005, when he had his esophagus removed. He hasn't felt well since then but his stupid doctor just poked and prodded and told him he was fine. He finally went to a new GP who ordered a CAT scan, which shows the cancer has not only returned to his stomach, but has spread to his lungs and liver. Bottom line: it's inoperable.
So, my request is that if you are of the praying sort, that you pray for him. |
